I am trying to use the GridCheckboxColumn control and it does not appear in my VS 2008 toolbox.  I have tried to add it (on toolbox tab right click, "Choose Items"), but the control is not in the list of available choices.  I can see the class in VS's object browser.  I only have the grid column editors on the toolbox and not the controls themselves.

I am using RadControls for ASPNET AJAX Q2 2008.  Are the controls not apart of this version?

Thanks,
Mystee

Hello Mystee,

The GridCheckBoxColumn is not a control but it comes under the column collection of the RadGrid control just like in a normal asp.net GridView and so only the RadGrid would be found in the toolbox and not its columns. Check out the following help document to understand how to add columns to your grid:
Adding columns from design-time

Thanks
Princy.

Thank you Princy.  It wasn't that simple.  I had a couple of versions of Radcontrols installed.  The GridCheckboxColumn, GridDropDowncolumn, etc. did not appear in the the Intellisense view at all, just the editor controls.  I refreshed the schema using the design editor and the control appeared.  However there were other complaints.  I did a thorough cleaning of my development environment and all is well.

Thanks again:)
