Hi Markus,
To see more information along the lines of the functionality that you requested, please refer to the following article. The difference in your implementation would be that instead of accessing an image in a button, you can access the edit linkbutton, or hide the edit cell altogether.

Thanks a lot! With help of the mentioned article I get it work.
But if I use for "CommandName" in the grid button column my own name this is no more working, buttons are shown on each row after pressing one of the buttons once. Whats wrong?
