Grid Update,Insert

Hi All,

I am doing Insert, Update in RadGrid at server side, and working fine, but i am not able to change edit mode to normal mode after update is complete.

How to change edit mode after update complete in RadGrid1_UpdateCommand event.

Please help me regarding this.

Try this:

grv.EditIndexes.Clear();

This will clear edit mode from all rows.

Hello Pradeep,

The edit form should close automatically after a successful update/insert. Can you make sure that you have not set the AllowAutomaticUpdates/AllowAutomaticInserts property of the grid to true? If yes, set these properties to False. Since you are manually updating/inserting into your grid, setting the Automatic operations will prevent the edit form from closing.

   If this is not the case, then the code provided by Roland should help.

I changed AllowAutomaticUpdates/AllowAutomaticInserts property of the grid to false, and is worked.
