Hi,
I'm trying to follow the instructions on this page (and the previous help pages) http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/grid-getting-started.html to create a simple web application containing a rad grid.
The problem is this:
When clicking the grid smart tag for "Choose Data Source", and selecting "New Data Source", the configuration wizard opens without any options. I can't select a SQL database, because that option doesn't appear. The only option which appears is "Site Map".
This is true for both my test application and the Telerik Live Demos - no options in the configuration wizard.
Has anyone encountered this situation?

Hello Ilan,

The .NET 2.0 support is dropped since Q1 2011 as you can see here and I assume that this is the cause of the issue.
In order to receive support, please upgrade the .NET version you are using.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Thanks for you answer. I now see that my original post stated .Net 2.0 - This must have been some copy-paste error when writing the post, since I've been using .Net 3.5 for quite some time, and the issue described arised when using .Net 3.5. I am testing some options hoping to find the solution for this problem, and will update here when it's resolved (or not).

Hello Ilan,

Could you please check if the behaviour of an asp:GridView is the same?

I am looking forward to your reply.

All the best,
