I know this has been brought up many times but I am trying to get smooth scrolling with frozen columns.  Are there any workarounds that i missed or is this still an issue?  I will try to keep this updated with any progress I have.

Hi Ryan,

Frozen scrolling is not a real scrolling at all, that's why it is discrete (column by column), not smooth. I am afraid we do not have plans to support smooth frozen scrolling.

we got it working in a ghetto fashion.  2 grids side by side with their scroll bars linked, and a hidden column to hold row alignment.  we used a "frozen column number" value to separate the data into 0-frozen column in the left grid, and frozen+1-> rest of data in the right grid.   now it scrolls smoothly like a grid without the frozen columns and looks and acts like one grid.  the only issue that throws it off a little is the scroll bar is only under the right grid, but that helps the user know what will scroll when they use it.  It is not the prettiest fix in the world but we like it alot better then a jerky "hide/show" scroll that comes with it.  I will see about cutting over some code to show how it was done.
