I've been digging for a post on doing jquery or jquery-like transitions when a form template is opened and closed.  Rather than having the form suddenly appear or disappear, I'd like to see the form slide into place.

Has anyone used an approach successfully on this?  Given the wireup inside of of the asp.net ajax grid, is this possible?

Hello Stephen,

One possible option in this case would be to use window editing for the grid control. You can use the client side api for the window, to reposition it, or alter its properties. Additional information on this is available in the following example:

http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/window/examples/radwindowobject/defaultcs.aspx

I hope this helps.
