Footer appears on each page when printing

Greetings!  I am using a RadGrid control that contains a footer which therein i am summing a column.  I want to be able to print the page from the browser, however the footer appears on each page that is displaying the sum value of the column.  I tried setting paging to false but to no avail.  I need to show the footer only on the last page, any help greatly appreciated!

Hi Kris,

I'm not sure that I can provide straight to the point answer because RadGrid does not support printing out of the box. What is the approach you use for this purpose? Maybe this one?

Thanks for responding! Actually we're just printing directly from browser, no extra code...>>> File >>> Print.  I noticed a similar issue with http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet/grid/exporttopdf-footer-show-on-last-page-radgrid.aspx

What is the best approach to remedy this?

Hello,

I am afraid I am unable to fully understand your scenario.
If you print directly from the browser menu, only the current page will be printed.
If you export to PDF and then print, there is no way out of the box for the desired functionality to be implemented.

However, you can examine the attached project to see a possible way for printing the whole content of the grid and the header/footer shown only once.

Hello Sagar,

I am afraid this is an implementation of the browsers and there isn't a way to stop displaying the footer on each page. Actually you will experience the same behavior if you are using a HTML table element with <tfoot> specified.
