I really can't find it.
I want copy/past functionality in my 2009Q2 filebrowser.
security settings are correct.
I found out I can drag a folder to another folder, I suppose this is copying?
But when I do this, it says
It's removing the slashes, and I think it should do some urlencoding?
What am I missing? No one seemed to have asked this before, so it must be pretty simple right?
Do I need to add clientside functions? Is there an example?

I found out, that I'm getting the error when dragging directory from the folder-pane to the folder-pane. Whereas dragging from the content-pane to the folderpane copies the selected directory/file.
btw is there a way to modify that behavior into moving instead of copying?

Hi Marco,
I tried to reproduce the problem but to no avail. Could you please provide more detailed information on the subject?
For your convenience I have attached my test project and this video demonstrates my testing. Could you please modify it to a point where the problem occurs and send it back?
Best wishes,

I tried to reproduce the problem but to no avail. Could you please provide more detailed information on the subject?
- Which version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and .NET Framework is used in the application?
- Under which browser and its version the problem occurs?
- Are you able to reproduce the problem on the Live Demos? If so, could you please provide the exact steps that need to be executed to reproduce the problem?
- Could you please provide a sample runnable project that replicates the problem so we can investigate it further?

This doesn't seem to occure in the latest 2010Q1 version; So I'm assuming this is a bug in an earlier version.

But for my other question,
How can I Copy files? Dragging moves them, I'd like to change that behavior in copying.
And could you provide me with an example perhaps?

Hi Marco,
Please accept my sincere apologies for missing your second question.
The required feature is available in the latest version of RadFileExplorer - if the Ctrl key is pressed the item will be copied instead of moved on drag and drop. At present, RadFileExplorer does not offer the possibility to modify this behavior, however, we do plan to improve the copy/paste functionality but I am unable to provide firm estimate regarding their implementations.
