Export to excel not working in internet explorer 9.0.8112.16421

I can't seem to get the export to excel button to work in internet explorer version 9.0.8112.16421, both with and without ajax. Clicking the export button does not produce any download prompt, nothing happens at all. Writing a separate button to call the export in code-behind doesn't work either. Even the demo does not work. Tried visiting http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/export/biffexport/defaultcs.aspx and clicking on the export button, no dice.

Seems to occur only for IE version 9.0.8112.16421 (that's the version on my pc). No problem for IE version 8, or chrome or fire fox or opera (working well). Anyone experiencing the same issue? Is this an IE specific bug, specific to this version? Any fix for this?

Is anyone from Telerik able to verify this? I have no problems exporting in other major browers, Problem only exists with

internet explorer 9.0.8112.16421

But can someone from Telerik please verify if this is in fact an issue? My internet explorer has no additional plugins or extensions.

Hello Joey,

I prepared a video which demonstrates that the export functionality is working properly with the same version of Internet Explorer. I would recommend you to clean the cache of the browser and try downloading the file again.

Hi Kostadin, Thanks for taking the time to reply and to prepare the video. FWIW I've taken a video capture (http://screencast.com/t/PTA3wChh4z) of the export functionality on my side, using chrome 30.0.1599.69 m and IE 9.0.8112.16421 to visit http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/export/biffexport/defaultcs.aspx and clicking on the export button. Do you have any idea what can be causing the export button to be not responsive on my side (only for IE 9.0.8112.16421, all the other major browsers are working well)?

Sorry it's an IE bug, not a Telerik issue. The export did not work because my Internet Explorer currently does not show any download prompts. I've tried downloading files from other sites and there's no response either. Sorry for the trouble.
