Export to an Existing File

I have to print a report with the data in the grid, I first create the file replace the merge fields with the required fields and then I need to show the radgrid data..
with the export to pdf or word function, it creates a word or pdf file in which the radgrid data gets placed,
I want to place the radgrid data into that file itself how do I do it?

I have a template prepared in which the radgrid data has to fit in do mail me if you have some facility like that

Hey  - I am also facing same kind of situation, i mean i need to generate pdf dynamically by passing data-set to some radgrid template and gets pdf file having client logo n all stuff. 

Is it possible in Telerik??

Hello,

Exporting to an external file is not possible. Also, generating reports with RadGrid is out-of-scope of the control. Attached to this forum post is a simple demo showing how you can achieve that, but I would strongly recommend that you use Telerik Reporting instead.
