Hello Santy.e,

Could you please test the latest internal build of RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX ( Telerik.Web.UI_2009_1_514_trial_hotfix.zip) and see whether the problem still persists?

If the problem is not fixed, please open a support ticket and send a sample working project that demonstrates the problem along with steps to reproduce and sample content for test. Once we are able to reproduce the problem, we will do our best to help.

Greetings,

Hi Santy.e,

You can see how to update to a new version in this help article: Upgrading RadControls Trial to RadControls Developer license.

You should update the Telerik.Web.UI.dll in the bin folder with the new one from the hotfix and to make sure that you do not specify the version through the fully qualified name of the Telerik.Web.UI http handlers/modules in your web.config file (thus they will operate properly with each new version of Telerik.Web.UI.dll):

I am running into this same issue in IE 8 where there is an error popup window saying something about "Error while executing filter in XHTML."  I have an older version on the AJAX RadControls and my license has expired so I can't download the latest version.

How can I fix this without spending $1000 on a new license?

Hello Dan,

If you do not like to upgrade then to fix the problem you should turn off the ConvertToXhtml filter of RadEditor. You can see how to do that in this help article: Content Filters.

Hi Rumen

I tried with disableFilter(ConvertToXhtml) but due to this I introduced another issue..

If I upload a background image set to a table/tr/td using table properties dialog then when I switch to Html mode from Design mode the double quotes are removed from the content. It should have to be <table background="./Upload/abc.gif"> and it shows <table background=./Upload/abc.gif> in html mode...

This is not the case for src attribute of Img tag.

I am using teleriks '2008.2.826.20' version.

What to do for this issue can you suggest something?

Thanks

Hi Sups,

It is the browser that removes the attributes' quotes and it is the ConverToXhtml filter that corrects this unexpected browser behavior. If you would like to produce XHTML compliant content then you should enable the ConvertToXhtml filter.

Kind regards,
