A client gets the following error in a pop-up window when she tries to edit a page where the RADEditor has some links to documents with icons for the links visible:
"Error while executing filter XHTML - [object Error]"

If the links don't have the file icons visible no errors are generated.
Browser is ie6.
RADEditor version is 5.2.0

Any suggestions to why this error is displayed?

BR, Marcus

Hi Domack,

Would you please open a support ticket and send us a sample of the HTML code that your client is trying to edit? Once you do this, we will be able to reproduce the problem at our side

In addition, please upgrade to the latest version of the control (5.3.0) and test the scenario.

Sincerely yours,

Just for information: This user appears to have some problem in her environment, due to old software versions etc. And since we haven't seen these errors at any other users we won't investigate this further at the moment.

I am getting this message in radeditor "Error while executing filter XHTML - TypeError: 'getAttribute(...).length is null or not an object" when I have set radeditors ContentFilter to be ConverttoXhtml. But when I set disableFilter to be ConverttoXhtml then I dont get this error.

Can you please suggest me what needs to be done?
I am using IE8 and Teleriks '2008.2.826.20' version.

Thanks

Hello Sups,

In RadEditor for MOSS you can control the content filters via the ContentFilters property. You can find information on the matter in the following help article  http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/contentfilters.html.
