I'm new do telerik-rad-controls and using your examples for learning. Following your "Input" expl. I get an "Error Rendering Control" when ever I add an label to a RadMaskedTextBox, RadNumericText etc. That's the case, even if I open your example code. However, the Label are shown OK on the web-pages when viewed by browser.
I have RadControls for Ajax 2008_Q2, VS2008 SP1, NET 3.5.
What's to do?

When using VS 2008, both the Telerik.Web.UI.dll and Telerik.Web.Design.dll files should reside either in the GAC or the bin folder of your application.

Hmm...
First the blog says:

I've already installed SP1 (see my post above)
Second:
> Copy Telerik.Web.Design.dll to your web site ...
sorry, but there is no file "Telerik.Web.Design.dll" im my [RadControlASPNET AJAX Q2 2008] package
Third:
> Copy Telerik.Web.UI.dll to c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\PublicAssemblies
that did not help :)

Hi Felix,
When RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX are installed from the exe file, the Telerik.Web.Design dll is automatically being installed in the GAC. Therefore you can try referencing it in your project explicitly from there.
When you are using hotfix to update the controls version, the Telerik.Web.Design dll is in the Bin folders where the Telerik.Web.UI dll is.

Sorry Iana, but if just re-installed from file:
RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2008_2_1001_dev.exe
but there is no Telerik.Web.Design.dll - neither in the GAC nor in the BIN folder.
What's to do?

Thank you for specifying the version of the controls you are using. And you are right, the Telerik.Web.Design dll is used since Q1 2009 version of the controls. And you are having Q2 2008 version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. So you should be able to find the Telerik.Charting dll in your GAC. You could try the previous suggestion here as well.
However, I would suggest you to upgrade to the latest version of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX.
