Hi,
I have a bar code scanner that sends an "enter" as the last char. I like to use it for inserting data in a grid. The behavior i need is that the enter should work like the tab key works.

Hi Benny,

It will be very helpful if you can provide more information about your scenario and what exactly you need to achieve. You can also share with us your implementation of the required functionality.

1. Use the example on http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/grid/examples/dataediting/alleditablecolumns/defaultcs.aspx
2. Select
3. Start editing (Press the pen)
4. Write a productname and press enter... Now I need to come to the next column (the same as if you have pressed tab instead of enter)

Hello Benny,

The desired scenario is not supported out of the box and you will need to wire the OnKeyPress event and check whether the clicked button is Enter. Hence if the user clicks the Enter you need to find the next column and make active the input control. I have attached a sample project which shows the required actions in practice.

All the best,

Hi,
In your example you will come to the next row with enter. I'm trying to get to the next _column_ by pressing enter.
