Hi all,
I have a Sharepoint 2007 WSS farm and I have deployed the editor Telerik RadEditor for MOSS. Everything ok, but when I add the webpart on my pages (not exist a list) only works if modify the content by me. If to change is another user, changes are seen only in his personal view, but I, from my pc, can not see them. Is there any function that I need to activate?

Thanks,
Alessandro

Hello,

Could you confirm in what site you are adding the web part? Is it a publishing one. Also confirm if there is an approval functionality enabled in your site? In general RadEditor for MOSS uses impersonation as user rights management so the answer of your question "Is there any function that I need to activate?" is that there is no RadEditor for MOSS one. However you need to setup SharePoint's security and user settings so the other user will be able to view your changes.

Hi,
thanks to reply my question.
My site it's a private site (I can't show it). The approval funtionality shoud be not activate, because I never have any problem like this; the only one is present in webpart advanced options as "As you suggest, the users have the permission to modify the webpart content, with a special permission from user to user. Infact they can modify the content but their modifies are visible only for who modify the content, not for me that I have the permission as site owner.
For the setup SharePoint's security I never had to do that in the past, and with standard editor have not problems. So how I can setup Radeditor so that the other user will be able to view mine or other changes?

Thanks in advance,
Alessandro

PS in the Site features of my workspace are activate Use RadEditr to edit List Items and Use RadEditor to edit List Items in Internet Explorer as well

Hello Alesandro,

RadEditor for MOSS has not settings regarding the users permissions. Can you check if setting the trust level to Full, by modifying the web.config will solve the problem? If it does, you need to inspect your trust configuration file to find out exactly which setting is causing the problem.
