Hi I am getting this random error on radeditor. It only started when i upgraded to latest release. My custom EditorTool is showing Name on the editor instead of Text, which is very bizzar. Also I have installed new fonts in the machine and I want the editor to use those. But when I change the font to those fonts it changes back to time new roman although if i see in HTML its that font.

Can you please help me with this. I have a screenshot which I can send if you don't undertand the problem here.

Thanks
Atiq

Hi Atiq,

The behavior you experienced is a regression in the Q2 2009 release of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. We made a number of changes to simplify the editor tool model. It seems that the custom button text was not preserved after postback. We fixed the problem and the fix will be included in the service pack release for RadControls, which is scheduled for mid-August. The fix will also be included in the next internal build on our site (http://www.telerik.com/account/latest-internal-builds.aspx). If you decide to upgrade to the internal build, make sure its version is bigger than 2009.2.728.

As to the second behavior with the Fonts: Could you please, open a support ticket and send us the problematic fonts and video / screenshots demonstrating the problem? Once I am able to reproduce the problem, I will be able to provide a solution or explanation why the behavior happens.
