Is there any documentation on the features of the Rad Editor Lite 4.5.4 for MOSS ??

For example, I can't seem to find even basic descriptions of the functions for the Edit Hyperlink dialog. There is an option for a bookmark, but absolutly no indication of what this does. I've created several items using a MOSS announcements webpart, adding hyperlinks and including text for in fhe bookmark field. This appears to do absolutely nothing.

I need to be able to include a description of this function in some client documentation, so a swift response would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Andrew Goodwin,
By default RadEditor for MOSS comes with the default MOSS link manager enabled. You can find the declaration of the tool in the respective ToolsFile.xml or ListToolsFile.xml, which are located in the /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/4.x.x.x__1f131a624888eeed/RadControls/Editor folder.
<tool name="MOSSLinkManager" />

You should check the moss documentation for information about this dialog.

If you want to enable the dialog provided by Telerik, add the following code to the ToolsFile.xml and ListToolsFile.xml.
<tool name="MOSSLinkManager" />

I attached the user manuals for RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX and for the classic ASP.NET editor. You can find information about hyperlinks there.

All the best,

Hi Stanimir,

Thanks for your reply, however the manuals attached are for the full version of the Rad Editor, not the Lite version for MOSS. The only thing I can find which might be close to what I need is the section in the manual on Anchors, since there are no references to 'bookmarks' in the manuals. However it is the term 'bookmark' which is used in the Lite version.
I've tried following the description for adding Anchors and it appears that this is supposed to be the same thing as 'bookmarks' - when I follow the steps, then look at the html view instead of the RTF view it does add an anchor reference. However, when clicking on the linked anchor opens the list item for editing instead of jumping to the anchor.

Please can you clarify specifially the expected functionality and steps for using for the 'bookmark' field in the MOSS Lite version.

Thanks

Hello Andrew Goodwin,
As I explained by default RadEditor for MOSS uses the OOB MOSS Link Manager dialog, so i found the following help article http://www.logicalwriters.com/ann_blog/2009/3/25/bookmarks-in-sharepoint.html. I hope that it will be of any help for you.

Best wishes,
