i want to do some operation when grid is in edit mode. How to know when the grid goes to edit in clientside. Which is the suitable event?

Hi Ryann,

You can get the Grid in EditMode using OnCommand event.

ASPX:

<ClientSettings>
 <ClientEvents OnCommand="RadGridCommand" />
</ClientSettings>

C#:

<script type="text/javascript">
function RadGridCommand(sender, args) {
    if (args.get_commandName() == "Edit") {
        alert("Edit");
    }
}
</script>
