[Solved] Drag/Drop custom Drop Cue?

I'm using the Grid control and want to implement some custom behaviors like a custom drop cue, hiding the dragged item in the table and stuff like that. Would this be possible? If so, where should I look for examples?

To achieve your goal you can use this online demo as a starting point. In this example the dragged items are saved in the ShippedOrders collection. For further explanation of this example please review this online help article.

Those pages don't really give me what I was looking for. I'm more curious about how to implement a custom drop cue to be a little more user friendly (rather than a single dashed line - which is really hard to see if there are borders on the grid items). Is this possible?
