Looks like drag and drop within the scheduler does not work correctly in Safari when you scroll. The scroll causes an offset of where the appointment/task is dropped and loses where the mouse is within the scheduler making it appear not to work. I was able to reproduce in your demo for drag and drop.
To recreate:
1. scroll down in the scheduler
2. drag an appointment
Notice the jump in the scheduler and the scrollbar.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jess,
I am not sure if I make the right steps to reproduce the issue. Could you please send us a sample video or screenshot describing the problem?
Please take a look at the attached video for what I got as a result.
Best wishes,
Veronica Milcheva

To provide you with more detail... I went to this demo:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/draganddropintegration/defaultcs.aspx?product=scheduler
In SAFARI only, I dragged two appointments onto the scheduler. Both of the appointments should be after 10am. Scroll the scheduler down so that the one of the appointments is still in view (but the scrollbar is NOT at the top). Drag the appointment down. Upon initial drag, I am scrolled to the top of the scheduler in your example and the appointment has an offset equivalent to the scroll. Upon drop, I am unable to drag the appointment again (when I scroll down again). It appears this way, but due to the offset (I believe), the scheduler has actually lost the position of where I am dragging from.
If you need me to record my screen, I can work on that, but I am not having any issue repeating this behavior. It happens every time.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks.

FYI... I just took a look at your screen capture. My issue is with appointments already within the schedule not dragging them on it.

Good Morning,
I have the same issue with Telerik 2011 Q1 and Firefox 4; it works with Q3 2010.
Is there an hotfix for this ?
Thanks

Is this issue fixed? This is causing a serious issue in one of our production applications that we've been working on. Any fixes or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Our issue arises in both Firefox and Chrome, but works in IE.

In our testing of the latest internal build from today (2011_2_1018) it looks like this issue is working in our case. What is your opinion on releasing this type of fix into production? We see the drag and drop issue as a big one for our users, and I know that your internal builds are not recommended for production use, but I could see justifying an exception in this case. Thoughts?
Also, can you say whether these fixes (for the drag and drop problem) will be included in the next production release of the Telerik controls?
