Does RadAjaxManager require an <asp:Panel to work

Do I need to have an <asp:Panel ...> </asp:Panel> in order for the RadAjaxManager to work?

No need of asp:Panel control on page for RadAjaxManager to work. You can place AjaxManager on page and easily configure AjaxManager either using Property Builder or from code behind.
