Generally speaking, RadEditor for MOSS does not affect the document versioning in any way and we are not quite sure if the problem is with the control itself.
Can you please provide us with step-by-step reproduction instructions on how to recreate the problem locally? Also please let us know how you setup the editor and the exact scenario in which you are using it.
