Hi,

We currently have multiple RadEditor's inside an IFrame and we want the standard dialogs (RadWindow) i.e. ImageManager to be displayed on the topmost page. At present the dialogs are restricted to the IFrame of the RadEditor.

We have fixed the problem by setting the editor to use classic dialogs (editor.set_useClassicDialogs(true)), however this doesn't prevent the user from clicking on the toolbar and we require the dialogs to be cross browser and modal i.e. use div elements.

Thanks

Hi,

I logged your feature request for implementation for the Q1 2009 release of RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX. We will use the showModalDialog method (which is supported by IE and Firefox 3) to display the RadEditor dialogs when the classic dialogs pop up. This will solve the problem in the two most popular browsers IE and FF3+.

Kind regards,

Hi Rumen,

Has there ever been any progress with this? Is there a setting on the editor somewhere to enable this functionality?

I cannot seem to find any more information.

Rowen
