Hi,

I am wondering what the major differences are between RadMenu and RadToolbar..

It seems to me that the RadMenu control is more versatile. Is there anything I can't do with RadMenu that I can with the Toolbar?

Hello Sam,

One of the only things that I can think of that you can't do with the RadMenu is the SplitButton.

That's pretty much it I guess. The styling for the RadToolBar is more "button"-like, compared to the RadMenu.

Hi Sam Van,

The RadMenu is a navigational control that supports hierarchical levels ( one, two, three and so on, see demo here) while RadToolBar has up to one level. In general RadToolBar is composed of three types of buttons ( ToolBar button, Drop-Down Button and Split button ) and the main idea is that some action happens on a click of this button. For more details you could refer to our online documentation for RadMenu and RadToolBar as well as the online demos (RadMenu, RadToolBar).

Best wishes,
