I just loaded up the newest version of Telerik.Web.UI Q1 2010 and my style overrides seem to be only partially working?  Did the styles change again?

Hello John,

If you are using a custom skin for RadGrid, please set EnableEmbeddedBaseStyleSheet to false.

http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/grdbackwardcompatibility.html

If you have overridden some of the embedded RadGrid styles, you only need to increase the CSS specificity of your custom CSS rules.

http://blogs.telerik.com/dimodimov/posts/08-06-17/how_to_override_styles_in_a_radcontrol_for_asp_net_ajax_embedded_skin.aspx

The change is that RadGrid now has a base stylesheet. This has greatly reduced the size of the control's skins and will make creating custom skins from now on easier, as there will be fewer CSS rules to take care of.

All the best,

Hello,

I don't think that's all; it looks like the image sprites have also changed too?  For instance, I see the RadComboBox drop down image not quite right, probably because the dimensions changed within the sprite...  I am using a custom skin, FYI.

Any other changes to note?

Thanks.

Hi Brian,

The sprites for the RadComboBox Skins are not modified in the last version of the control. However you can send a sample with your custom Skin illustrating the mentioned issue and we will fix it for you.
