i have a grid on a ascx control, i bring up the columns dialog and enter 6 columns, pressing ok shows the columns on the display, but looking at the page source the columns havent been added and dont show on the run page.
But if i go back to the dialog editor there they all are
any ideas ?

I tried to reproduce the issue with the design-time serialization of grid columns (when the grid resides in a user control) locally but my attempts were not successful.
Can you please verify that you are using the latest version 2009.1.527 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX in your project? If the issue persists, I will appreciate if you can isolate a sample user control (holding your grid instance) and send it enclosed to a regular support ticket. We will test it locally and will get around to you with our findings.
