Custom ASP.NET development Web Server that launches on a different port each time I start the Prometheus examples does not close when the browser closes and servers stack in the taskbar. I just had to close approx 10 instances. Not big deal... but will be good if you can fix that.

I get that with regular ASP.NET apps in VS2005, always have.

They do die eventually.

Surfer-

As Stuart indicated, this is a Visual Studio 2005 behavior and not related to the RadControls. You should be able to configure VS to reuse internal servers to some degree, but I'm not exactly sure where all the settings are located.

Let me know if you need any help and I can do some research.

Thanks~

Todd,

Memory is getting to be precious stuff on my machine ATM. If you know/find away of getting VS to recycle these beaties, please let us know.

Sorry Stuart-

I'm not sure how you adjust these settings. I did some Googling, but didn't find anything. My VS 2005 automatically reuses running dev servers, though, in most cases (as long as I'm starting and stopping a site in the same instance of VS 2005). Not sure how to force this behavior. :/

Thanks~

Not to worry, just learned that I'm getting a new machine - woo-hoo! Maybe this one'll be a 486! 8-)
