I'm trudging my way through creating a custom advanced edit form, but can't get the Recurrence section to Expand when I click the checkbox. I've added the AdvancedForm.js file via a RadScriptManagert in the default.aspx file, but nothing happens when I un-check it. Any ideas / things to double check?

Thanks

Never mind - I found it - I wasn't handling the OnClientFormCreated event on the scheduler.

Hi there Paul -

I'm about to delve into the intimidating world of adding recurrence functionality to my customized Appointment Edit/Insert form.  I'm wondering if you have an example you worked from when you were doing this?  I'm looking around Telerik's site and nothing is jumping out at me.  Any example code to peep at would really help a brutha out.

Thanks,

Jesse

Hello Jesse Lawler,

We are planning to update the demo for RadScheduler External Edit in RadDock (by adding reminders and recurrences).

Meantime please take a look at the project in the attached .zip file. It is made to work with latest Q3 Release (2010. 1 1109) but you can use it as example for your custom advanced form.

Please let me know if you have more questions.

Is there any update to this? Using a custom RadDock is MUCH simpler than trying to recreate the Advanced Edit Form class in the examples...

Hi Clayton,

Yes, the demo is updated so that reminders are added. However we found a bug in the Recurrence Editor that prevents the implementation of recurring appointments. We'll do the needful to fix the bug and update the demo further.

Thanks. I'm more interested in the recurrence part of that, since I cannot get the recurrence editor to display properly in a dock (the dock does not resize when the recurrence editor is expanded)
