Hi

I am currently in the process of evaluating the Telerik Editor control for use in a web application which needs to run on multiple web browsers on both PC and Mac.  To test the control we created a number of simple tests which were performed on each of the target platforms.

I have attached a document which lists these tests and the issues which we encountered.  Can someone comment on these issues and whether or not there are any workarounds or plans to fix the problems in any up-coming releases (with release dates if possible) ?

Thanks

Steve

Hello Steve,

I just want to inform you that yesterday we released Q3 2009 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX where some of the reported problems are fixed.

Please, also note that the content area of RadEditor is an editable IFRAME which uses the Rich Text Editing engine of the browser where it operates. Every browser offers different level of rich text editing features and abilities and for example it is not possible to resize an image in Chrome and Safari. This is a browser limitation in these browsers.

For your convenience I tested the issues in the provided Word document, commented them and attached the docx file to this message.

Regards,
Rumen

Hi Rumen

Thanks for the detailed response.  I have re-tested many of the problems and it looks like Q3 2009 release has resolved several of the issues as you stated.

There are still a couple of issues but I have posted these as support tickets as you suggested.

thanks
