Hi,
I copy pasted in a document from MS Word into the telerik editor. The document pasted fine in IE 7 but using firefox 3 I observed some funky characters were introduced in the editor. In specific all the tick marks (check mark) are showing as ü . If you copy paste ü in the telerik editor on the demo page (http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/editor/examples/default/defaultcs.aspx ) using firefox 3 you will see that the tick mark does not show but if you do the same using IE the tick mark will show. Again this not happening in IE and tick marks are correcly displayed. This is a firefox specific problem.
Any ideas on how I should handle this problem.

One more thing, if you just view this page (this forum page we are on) in IE and then in Firefox you will see the what I am talking about.

This is a browser specific problem and it is not related to RadEditor which is just a standard editable IFRAME element. I searched in Google and found the following information in this forum thread: Can't see ticks using Firefox:
"Wingdings is NOT a valid font face - it is a font family. You can see how it should be correctly used by looking at http://www.texastar.com/css/fonts.css and finding the wingdings reference. The only reason it works in IE is because MS coded a fudge into the IE rendering engine to get around web developers screwing this up."
The solution that I found in the net was the following:
"All I need to do is pull of the Symbols Dialog Box, choose the font "Arial Unicode MS" and pick my symbol."
I tried this steps and copied the inserted √ tick symbol in RadEditor and it was displayed properly in Firefox.
Once again I would like to remark that this is not a problem of RadEditor.
