I'm having an issue while pasting text from word. When copy paste the following text in MOSS RADEditor for lists

Text 1

Text 2

Text 3

I am getting extra break in RADEditor.

Text 1

Text 2

Text 3

when I copied the word in this forum's Editor, it works fine. But is not working properly in MOSS RADEditor for lists. Can you please tell how to resolve this issue? Is there any latest updates available to resolve this issue.

Hi Phani,

The editor in this forum is currently an older version (7.02). Try to paste in the online editor examples - http://www.telerik.com/demos/aspnet/Editor/Examples/FontsAndFontSizes/DefaultCS.aspx

If the content does not look OK in the online demo, then this problem is only present in the newer editor version. Otherwise it is something MOSS specific. By the way, pasting from word is not supported in the lite version of the MOSS editor. You need the regular release to use this feature.

Hi,

Thanks for ur reply. It is working fine in the online version. But it is not working in the MOSS editor.

I am using fully licensed version of the RADEditor. Is it problem with the version i have? or is there any JS files i need to look into?

Regards,
Phani

Hi Phani,

It seems that this was a problem with the previous version of the editor control. We will soon update the editor for MOSS with the latest RadEditor build (the one used in the online examples), which should fix the pasting problems. Download the new version, when it becomes available, and test it in your MOSS site. If the problem still exists, please send us a sample word document, which we can use to test locally.

All the best,
