The GridAttachmentColumn class inherits from the GridEditableColumn.
Looking at the GridAttachmentColumn's Overview page this becomes more than obvious as the text is a straight copy of its ancestor's equivalent (only the names have been changed).
Call me old fashioned, but I'd like to see the GridAttachmentColumn's Overview page give an overview of the GridAttachmentColumn. :-)

Hi Stuart,
Thank you for your feedback.
However, the mentioned topic described the GridAttachmentColumn Class as a class of the namespace. If you need to find more information about a specific grid column, this help topic is where we provided it.
Best wishes,
Iana

Iana,
Nice try but I'm not buying.
Let's look at other classes that inherit from GridEditableColumn...
All I'm trying to do is point out that the docs are incomplete, but they are incomplete in a way that will prolly go unnoticed by people at telerik towers, who are, doubtless, working flat out on the next project, unless someone points it out. I'm pointing it out

Let's look at other classes that inherit from GridEditableColumn...
- GridCheckBoxColumn. This is described as "Displays a CheckBox control for each item in the column. This allows you to edit for example Boolean field(s) from data table(s)." It give an example of its use.
- GridDropDownColumn. This is described as "Displays a DropDown control for each item in the column. This allows you to edit for example lookup field(s) from data table(s)." This also gives an example.

Hello Stuart,
I will forward your feedback and findings to our developers so they add detailed descriptions for the different column types in the API reference. And I hope that for the next version of the controls we will have our help articles rather improved.
All the best,
