[Solved] Controls not appearing in ToolBox

Hi,

Im using VS2008 and 'RadControls Prometheus for ASPNET Q2 2007',
I was having problems that some of control such that RadGrid, ComboBox, etc im not getting in Prometheus controls Tab in the VS2008 toolbox. I tried in all aspects but it doesnt work for me can u help me...

Hi,

Did you try to manually register the controls? Please refer to the attached screenshot for details. You have to close the Visual Studio and after the registration you will have to wait for a few seconds before they appear in the toolbox.

Hi,

Thanks for ur response. it works fine.. now im getting all Prometheus controls in my ToolBox... but im getting some error if im adding prometheus control to exciting Q2 RadControl. Need to know where i will get the prometheus dll to update in my project references folder... Also please guide me to step by step process of update RadControl Q2 to Prometheus Q3 control in exciting project...

Hi Jai,

What is the exact error you receive?
To use the "Prometheus" controls you need only to drag and drop them on a web form or add a reference to the Web.UI.dll on your aspx page manually and copy the Telerik.Web.UI.dll in your project bin folder.
If I understand you correctly, you want to upgrade your existing project made with "Classic" controls to "Prometheus"? What are the exact controls you are using?
