Okay, so I just downloaded and installed the new version of the Rad controls. When I open my web site projects, I can see all the new rad controls in the toolbox. My problem is with one particular website (uses way older rad control version), none of the rad controls are in the toolbox whatsoever. I even go into the choose items and find the web.UI, but nothing shows up. I also ran the toolbox program in telerik and still nothing shows up. So, I find it really strange that all the new controls are showing up in most of my websites and not this one. any ideas or suggestions as to why this is happening?

A possible reason could be that the target framework of your project is .NET Framework 2.0 but the RadControls assembly, registered in your toolbox is built against .NET Framework 3.5 (2009.1.402.35) and vice versa.

Hi,
i have a similar porblem. I downloaded Rad Controls for ASP.NET Q4 2006 and installed it on my system. Unfortunetly i am unable to see any Rad controls on my visula studio 2005 version 8.0.5 toolbox. Request you to help/guide me.

You can add each of the controls manually to the VS 2005 toolbox using the general guidelines from this help topic:
http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet/grid/installaddingtovstoolboxnet2.html (applicable for other RadControls as well)
You may also consider migrating to the latest version of RadControls for ASP.NET (Q1 2009) since they include various new features/enhancements you may find useful.
