Hi Team,

Presently i have implemented  Double Needed Gauge Control as you can see in this image (Double Needle Gauge ).
As we can see in the Image Red Range ranges from 0 -> 700 and Green ranges from 700 -> 1100 .

Dont we have any way to show both the ranges spreading from Zero just like Rainbow (Colors Running Parallel ).
To be specific in this case :
Both the Red and green Range should start from Zero and Red ending at 700 and Green traversing till 1100.

Does anyone know how to achieve this. ?

Thanks,
Madhav Joshi

Hello Madhav,

I am afraid there is not a way to create the described scenario in the current version of RadControls unless you overlay another resized RadGauge so that the scales of both Gauges fit in.

I have tried some iterations to set such properties of both Gauges and the CSS classes of their wrappers so that I reproduce your scenario. You can have a look at the output here.
Please find the VS sample I have used in RadHtmlGauge_overlaying.zip archive.

Kind regards,

Hi Danail ,

I looked into your sample , I am already using Two Radgauges and set CSS properties so that scale overlap over each other and there are two needles. So problem faced is ranges which cannot be resized/moved  as individual component. If i  try to move range it harms the needles and Scales. Can you please suggest any other method ? or is it not achievable at all ?

If so please do raise PIT .

Thanks,

Hi Madhav,

The meaning of Gauge is to point where a certain value is located on certain set of ranges from a single scale and not multiple scales. That is why I am not suppose to log it in PITS. As I said in my previous post that scenario is doable only through Gauge overlaying and CSS wrappers.

Regarding the ability to add second pointer this feature has already been logged in PITS so that you can follow, vote and comment on it.
