Shouldn't there be some kind of Getting Started/Installation Problem forum?

I just installed the trial version Q2_2006. I start a new ASP.NET project and try to drag the RadGrid onto the page. I get the error message, "Control cannot be created because Visual Studio cannot find the control's type in the control assembly." I've tried the other controls but only to get the same message.

What am I doing wrong?

I have in the past gone to forums looking for answers and included code to explain what I am doing.  Sometimes, I forget to remove a business name from the code. And if some one googles this business, they will find that company name in programmer's forums.

We can edit or posts already, and that combined with the right caution ahead of time should be enough.  BUT

It would be "really" cool if I could add a word filter to my forum posts to remove business names I choose from my posts "automagically".

Oh, this would be sweet.

I do a number of projects for a variety of clients, ranging from websites to building entire web applications.  I need to have a few developers with good Telerik experience for some upcoming projects.  Use of the radMenu, radPanel, and radGrid are among those that will be utilized.

We have excellent designers who understand the entire visual design and page production process, so your skills are needed primarily in implementing our designs utilizing Telerik controls, or your own custom controls.

Most of the jobs in which we need help would NOT require your full-time help.  It is my opinion that ALL of this work can be accomplished after-hours or part time --- SO YOU KEEP YOUR DAY JOB :-).

The skills I'm looking for include:
  • Experience with VS2005 and .NET 2.0
  • Good understanding of CSS
  • Good understanding of HTML (DIV layout)
  • No design skills needed, but always a plus.  We do the page design, skinning, and interation design for you
  • IIS and deploying a site/app

Please follow up with me, and we'll discuss more.

Thanks
Brandon Mitchell

I'm just wondering if there is something to give the textbox a 3D type look.  Here is a link to a picture of what I would like my input boxes to look like.  Are there any existing skins or settings that can do this?

Thanks.
