Version 2013.1.220, released on February 20, 2013 RadControls for WinForms Q1 2013 boast two new controls – the official version of RadPivotGrid and our brand-new RadPDFViewer for Windows Forms. The new components have been designed to enable you easily fulfill critical initiatives in enterprise environment and the projects that support them, such as application data management maturity and content management and collaboration. The RadChartView control comes re-charged with a bunch of new data presentation capabilities helping you achieve powerful data visualizations via interactive dashboards. PivotGrid with OLAP support
Q1 2013 unveils the official version of RadPivotGrid introducing full OLAP support including sorting, filtering and KPIs “out of the box”. Telerik’s PivotGrid for WinForms enables your applications to deliver easier than ever multi-dimensional data analysis arming your end-users with quick and informed decisions.

New PDF Viewer control
This release enables you to easily load and display PDF documents natively in your app without using any third-party tools except Telerik’s WinForms toolbox. Some of the highlights among the list of features include page navigation, zoom, pan, text search and annotations. Thanks to its built-in UI virtualization, RadPdfViewer delivers a performant solution in every scenario. We hope this new component comes as a nice addition to your Content Management Systems and Reporting applications.

Re-charged ChartView control
Q1 2013 adds a bunch of improvements to the WinForms’ powerful charting solution, complementing the existing set of interactivity and customization features that allow you to build rich dashboards with no effort:
Smart labels
This new feature enables you to properly display lots of data in your chart with data point labels enabled. It helps you deal with data point labels overlapping, nicely arranging the labels and making your data more readable.

Drill-down support
This feature comes in handy in scenarios where you need to display a breakdown chart view of a parent data point value based on end-users’ selection. The Drill-down support includes built-in navigation added as a user-friendly bread crumb and home/back buttons.

Multi-axes support
RadChartView Q1’13 lets you effortlessly display multiple series based on data of different scale utilizing the newly added multiple axes. We hope you’ll find this capability extremely useful in scenarios that need to provide comparison of values describing different object characteristics versus a single base characteristic.
