UI for Winforms
As of our next release, we plan to upload our WinForms Demo application to the Windows Store. The application showcases all the controls available in the suite and gives users the opportunity to review the code and have a real example of the controls in action with preloaded data.
A powerful new spreadsheet control will be joining our Telerik UI for WinForms suite. This Excel-inspired control enables you to add spreadsheet functionality to your WinForms applications, with lots of customization options and features, without the need to have office installed.
In R3 2017, we’ll introduce two more material themes to Telerik UI for WinForms, which will be using different color palettes for even broader customizations of the look and feel of your desktop applications. We’ll also provide an article guiding you through the process of customizing an existing theme with other colors.
In the past release, we introduced the ability to display forms and form fields (including signatures) to Telerik UI for WinForms PdfViewer control. In our next release, we plan to further extend the control’s capabilities by including the ability to edit and fill forms from within the application.
In R3 2017, we plan to include Google Analytics integration to our Telerik UI for WinForms product. Google Analytics is a must-have tool for cases requiring detailed reporting within desktop applications. By integrating it into the suite, users will be able to integrate data collection in their applications. By leveraging the built-in tracked features as well as adding your own events, you’ll be able to see application usage and areas of improvement.
