This is a rather cool one.  Our Hockey Organization Website Software package has been very successfull, and we will be porting that package to other sports shortly.  However, one problem arose with that product:

Say a family had three children playing minor hockey.  Two play for two different teams in their hometown and the third plays for an elite level team out of town.  That family would have to check three different team pages to get all three schedules (which our package makes easy).

It would be better yet to combine all three schedules into one calendar.  Now they can with MyCal.

This is an auxillary website that we created that will allow people to combine the schedules from any site that *ahem* we make (need to make money somehow) and view them on the web or download in iCal format.  In the case of the sports organizations, they can pick and choose individual teams from the organization.

The site proudly uses several of the Telerik Prometheus controls:
  • RadScriptManager
  • RadStyleSheetManager
  • RadAjax
  • RadSplitter
  • RadTextBox
  • RadGrid
  • RadComboBox
  • RadScheduler
  • RadWindow
  • RadColorPicker

It uses the .NET 3.5 Framework and was created in Visual Web Developer 2008 in about 4 hours.  It also allows the user to pick from one of the several built-in Prometheus skins, including Black, Default, Mac, Office 2007, Outlook, Vista, Web 2.0, and WebBlue.  The standard ASP.NET Membership & Profile providers are used.

To enable all the themes and create a calendar you'll need to create an account (it's free, no worries there).  Go ahead and try it and let me know what you think!

Hello:

I know that plenty of people have tried to address this but I haven't found a consensus on how to resolve this problem:

Reloading a previous page with its view state.

A real world example:

A search page that displays search results. Click on an item and the application brings the user to a details page. A Back To List button exists and when clicked, the user is brought back to the search page with its previous state in context.

My application:

Page 1 displays records within a DataGrid and has various controls. A button redirects the user to Page 2 using cross-page postback.

Page 2 displays various data from Page 1 using .NET's PreviousPage object. A button redirects the user back to Page 1 using Response.Redirect.

There are a million and one ways to to do this but I am trying to have Page 1 re-display with the view state that it had before leaving for Page 2. The same data loaded in the controls, the same selections made in the controls, the same page of records loaded in the DataView.

Currently, it just re-loads Page 1 with it's initial values.

I've tried JavaScript history and looking into overwriting Page 1's view state but ViewState is not available within the PreviousPage object.

Does anyone have some advice?

Are there any Aussie developers hanging out on here?

I would be keen to chat to some RadControls gurus that are based in Australia - Melbourne in particular.

Feel free to drop me an email at nathan@xpand.com.au.

Laters.

Hi,

I am trying to manage my Developer list on the Telerik "Client.net" website.

I have two old developers I need to delete and two new developers I need to add.

I have found where I can add new developers but can't find where I can delete the old ones.

Not sure what List to ask this in so here goes anyway.  Is there a way to tell within the documentation what is supported in 1.1 and what is just for 2.0?

thanks
