I fear that I'm going to get shot down in flames, but here goes.

I'm not a big fan of trying to cram endless fudges in to a single CSS file to overcome the limitations and/or strangeness of on browser or another (in truth, usually IE) and would much rather have a nice, 'clean' set of style sheets for each browser.

I'd like to see a skin folder with, say, a styles.css as the 'base' set of styles with, say, an ie6Styles.css and/or an ie7Styles.css and/or ...

I don't imagine that it would be too hard to ensure that the necessary conditionals were loaded and acted upon when the various controls were rendered on to the page.

I think that as more and more IE7 skeletons kick loose from the cupboards that they are hiding in we're going to need more and more fudges to make our RadControls work the way we want and I think that this would make such management easier in the long term.

What do the panel think?

Dear Telerik community,

We need your opinion! We have started a brand new thread on Weekly WinForms Documentation Builds to keep you informed on our documentation progress towards the Q3 2007 release. There we will post weekly (and sometimes nightly) builds of the product documentation for the products that we are currently working on.

As you will see we are doing a major rework of the WinForms documentation, bringing it to a higher level.

We are looking forward to your comments, notes and topic requests. We would like you to tell us what you like or dislike in the way we develop the help files. All your opinions will be generously rewarded with Telerik points!

Thank you in advance!

Best Regards,
The Telerik Team

UPDATE [11/07/2007]: We have already posted the documentation for 6 Telerik WinForms Controls. Check them out!

Site created for a AAA minor hockey organization, which has several individual teams within it.  Site contains news, events, schedules, player rosters, statistics, etc. for the organization as a whole and for each individual team.  Database design allows for a flexible number of teams to be setup from year to year.  The public pages aren't anything special; the Admin pages are where the real beauty is; unfortunately I can't let anyone see them since the site is live with real data.

Controls Used (Public Pages):
r.a.d.Rotator
r.a.d.Ajax
r.a.d.Menu
coming soon: r.a.d.Calendar

Controls Used (Admin Pages):
r.a.d.Splitter
r.a.d.Panelbar
r.a.d.Menu
r.a.d.DateInput
r.a.d.Input
r.a.d.Editor
r.a.d.Calendar
r.a.d.ComboBox
r.a.d.Grid
r.a.d.Ajax

I noticed you can get points in Client.Net for beta testing products from telerik. Does anyone know what you have to do to become a beta tester? I'd be highly interested in that! Not just for the points, but to see the development process first-hand.

The Web is full of sites that provide design templates for Websites -- but what I'm looking for are some templates or at least some great examples of Web-based application layouts. I can develop a great program that can fulfill your every need, but I get stuck when trying to lay it out on the page. [the grid goes here and the treeview goes here and...wait that doesn't look right!] I've searched all types of books for user interface guidelines, but really just would like to see some great examples of good application designs with no frills of homepage links and huge flash graphics and such. Hate to put these 'pretty little' controls that Telerik has provided me in some crappy ole interface window. HELP!!!!

Hi,
Is there a way I can dynamically set the skin for the entire site ?
Say with a combobox having skin names like Office 2007, Windows XP, Windows 2003  etc filled in when user chooses a skin from this combo how can I set the entire sites skin to be that ( it can only effect him or if not possible it can be applied to all users like  an administrators can change it for site.)

If setting it dynamically is not possible how can I set it statically without doing it for each control on every page ?

Thanx
