In one case (ok) you are using IE8 in standards mode. In the other case (ko) you are using IE7 or IE8 in compatibility mode. The problem could be caused by some properties in the RadGrid configuration (e.g. HorizontalAlign, Width, etc) or by some CSS styles on the page.
If you need further assistance, you will have to send us a runnable demo, so that we can inspect it locally.

OK, but IE8 is able to switch its mode automatically, or in accordance with its settings (e.g. there is a setting to make the browser display all sites in the network neighbourhood in Compatibility mode).
I will need a runnable sample, in order to help you make the RadGrid look good in both cases.
