[Solved] Column reordering issue

I have an issue while moving columns (for column reordering), if we keep column header static (not to be affected with the scroll) then we get an issue where data underneath is reordered but the column names stay in their place

Do you experience this issue with version 2009.2.701 of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX? We had similar issue reported before which should be addressed in the latest release of the grid.

If the problem remains, I will appreciate if you can provide a live url where the discrepancy can be seen. Thus I will research the matter further and will do my best to assist you resolve it.

Hi Sebastian,

I am using the Q1 2009 version of telerik. The problem is if i set the usestaticheader option in the grid and if i try to reorder the columns then only the data goes, the header stays put.
if i set the value as false, everything works fine as it is.

Hello Sreedath,

I suggest you migrate to the Q2 2009 release (2009.2.701) of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX (following the guidelines from here) to see whether this eliminates the issue.
