When I double click on a Word file within File Explorer I get some garbage text in the browser.  Is there anyway to double click on the Word document and it opens up the file in Word?

Hi Nenna,

Currently, the opening of Word documents can be handled only by browsers with additionally installed plugins and, thus, cannot be previewed by RadFileExplorer. The optimal solution I can suggest you is to implement the file downloading approach from the following live demo, so the users will be able to open the doc/docx files directly on their local machines (using the needed software):
