[Solved] Clarification on clientside changes to attributes

In the documentation on the clientside changes for this version it says that 

Attributes

-           N/A – new attributes API will be implemented

Does this mean that we can not currently access the attributes that we put on the treenodes?  If so, how do we do it.  Is it the same as before?  I need to know this before I begin switching out the radtreeview for the prometheus.

Nevermind.  I saw the section on Custom Attributes and saw where you can do 

                node.get_attributes().getAttribute("test")
