The chart looks good in the viewer but none of the labels print out with a transparent background. Every label has a white background which makes the chart look like everything overlaps with white boxes and cuts out  a section of a bar next to it. I have set transparency in the series item label appearance and so on. It's a 3 series chart with 25 points so they are narrow bars. So how do I get the print out to match the screen? Also its doing this on all the printers around here.

Hi Richard,

I am afraid we were not able to reproduce this behavior locally. It seems like an issue in the browser when dealing with transparent images, like the one IE6 used to have, though in this case the image displays correctly. Still -- can you please provide more details about the ChartImageFormat and the browser used?

Hello,
Thanks for the quick response especially without making a ticket., I'm not displaying it in the browser. I have a windows app that has a reportviewer in it, exactly like the windemo app. I am using reporting Q1 2010. I used the vista theme from the properties window. For now I have turned the print button off and have them exporting to .pdf then printing. I'm sure they would rather just print it though.

Hi Richard,

We would appreciate if you provide us with a sample report containing a chart that shows the erroneous behavior you've encountered, since we were not able to reproduce it locally. Once we review it, we would be able to advise you.

All the best,
Steve

Hello,
I sent a .zip file with  ticket ID : 300914.  It's a pretty basic example so if your unable to duplicate it already then it may print fine for you. Thanks for your time
