Hi All,

I need to alter some things on the material design skin.  When will it be added to the visual theme tool?

Regards

Jon

Hi Jon,

It is one of the most important skins to add to the Theme Builder and with very high priority in our ToDo list for Q2 2016.

Hi Rumen,

Thanks for letting me know.  In the meantime is there a way that I can adjust all colours via the CSS or am I looking at having to stick with the green?

Regards

Jon

Hi Jon,

You can change the default colors of the theme through the provided sass files in the source code: Telerik_UI_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2016_1_113_Source.zip. All Material theme variables are located in the Telerik_UI_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2016_1_113_Source.zip\Telerik_UI_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_Source\Telerik.Web.UI.Skins\Material\__skin.Material.scss file.

Of course, you will be able to visually change and with ease the color appearance once the theme becomes available in the Theme Builder.

Morning Rumen,

Many thanks, I'll take a look.  So far I have gotten by just changing the green in css as and when I come across it however that will be very useful to see the SASS files.

Best Regards

Jon

I am happy to hear that you managed to change the green color through the CSS files.

It is worth it to note for the other developers that read this forum thread that the SASS files are currently distributed only by the source code.
