Changing Default Child Selector Image

I am using the default Rad-menu skin on my navbar and trying to modify it to my liking using Css. Everything is correct except I cannot remove the gray box selector that appears when I hover over any sub menu items. I've also tried removing the background images in menu.default.css file with no luck. Where is this gray box coming from?

Which skin did you use as a basis? I am not sure what that gray box is. You can open a support ticket and send us your css files so we can update them.
