We are testing the Captcha control on one of our pages. It sometimes appears as a grey box, but hitting refresh sometimes clears this up.

Could this occur since we are running it currently in an unlicensed format? We are looking to evaluate & test the product before purchase.

My code looks like so:

<telerik:RadCaptcha ID="RadCaptcha1" runat="server" ErrorMessage="The text you entered does not appear to match." CaptchaTextBoxLabel="" ImageStorageLocation="Cache"></telerik:RadCaptcha>

I'm not sure if this will help but for your grey box issues you could look into this forum thread.

As for the unlicensed/trial format there is no limitation on Telerik's trials versus their full products. The only difference is that you get a trial message once in a while on the page. The support trial limited to 60 days after the trial download and has a 72 hour response time while the full product has 48 or 24 hours.

Hi Ron,

There is no functional difference between the full licensed version and the trial version of our product.

If your web site is hosted on more than one server (web-farm environment) you should use the Session as a storage location for the CaptchaImage.

Let us me know if this does not help.
