Hi Mandeep Singh,

Could you please be more specific on "filtering" the RadScheduler? What do you want to be filtered in the Scheduler via RadFilter?

Kind regards,

Hello admin,

thanks for the reply,
In my scenario i have several phases in my database with the start date as due date and end date as Date complete,
so i have a event bar showing the one compete phase as one bar starting from due date to datecompleted ,

and i need to use the radscheduler according to Radfilter, like selecting due date from the filter and i need to filter the Radschduler according to the range put inside the filter,

so that a user can see all phases between the filter selected due date or date completed range,

Plese help me with this as soon as possible,

Thanks,

Hi Mandeep Singh,

I understand the need for using RadFilter with RadScheduler. I've created a simple project to show you how they work together. Please note that RadFilter can be used to filter appointments of RadScheduler only if RadScheduler is binded to DataSource. This approach will not work for XmlProvider.

Please take a look at the attached .zip file and let me know if this was helpful.

Hello admin,

Again thanks for the reply , we are using 2.0 framework in our project and we also try to implement the same code given by you on our side but it shows "Index Was out of range" error while selecting any filter,

please again debug the code and provide the same,

Thanks,
Mandeep

Hello Mandeep Singh,

Unfortunately as you are running version 2.0 of the .NET Framework - you will not be able to run my project at all as it uses LinqDataSource - valid for .NET 3.5 or above. I tried to change to DataSource to be SqlDataSource but unfortunately we are not supporting FilteringExpressions to the RadScheduler. That's why you can only filter RadScheduler binded to LinqDataSource or EntityDataSource.

Please accept my apologies for the caused inconvenience.
