I haven't used the scheduler control before and before I invest time working with it, I wanted to know if I can use it to support this functionality. I want to create a view like the one in Outlook where you can see other people's free/time information. It's where you plan a meeting. So I want to create a web page where someone log in and enters their free and busy hours. Then I want to display an aggregate view of everyone's free/busy time on the same schedule so that from a bird's eye view, one can determine when to schedule an event. The view needs to display everyone time using some kind of visual element like a different color bar across hours and days where each color represents someone and there's a legend detailing what color is who.

Can the scheduler or a combination of controls support this? I know I can develop this from scratch if I want to but I was wondering if a Telerik control or a sample application already includes much of the needed functionality.

Thanks.

Hi abdu,

It looks like what you need is Timeline view grouped by resources:
http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/scheduler/examples/timelineview/defaultcs.aspx

You can additionally use the following kb article to represent free or unavailable time slots:

All the best,
